There are two awarding bodies for the courses. The Certificate being awarded by OTHM (Organisation for Tourism and Hospitality Management) followed by the Diploma and the Advanced Diploma awarded by CTH (Confederation of Tourism & Hospitality).

University access for CTH students
Normally, universities will assess each individual student who has achieved a CTH Diploma or Advanced Diploma on their individual merits and experience. Consistent with CTH requirements, students must have successfully completed Secondary or High School education. The universities usually require applicants to have a credit profile in order to demonstrate they have the capability to progress to the Second or Final year of a Degree course as appropriate.
