The Department of Tourism & Hospitality has been internationally recognized in the field of education and employment. Tourism & Hospitality is one of the rapid growing industries in the world and especially in the UK.

There are two awarding bodies for the courses. The Certificate being awarded by OTHM (Organisation for Tourism and Hospitality Management) followed by the Diploma and the Advanced Diploma awarded by CTH (Confederation of Tourism & Hospitality).

There are four modules in the Certificate Level, namely:
Introduction to Travel, Tourism & Hospitality
Introduction to the Business Environment
Business Communication and Customer Care
Introduction to Business & Finance

At the Diploma Level, The course entitles them ten modules:

The Advanced Diploma in Hotel Management aims to provide the following six Modules:

Food and Beverage Management
Strategic Hospitality
Facility Management
Management Accounting
Human Resource Management
Management Research Report
University access for CTH students
Normally, universities will assess each individual student who has achieved a CTH Diploma or Advanced Diploma on their individual merits and experience. Consistent with CTH requirements, students must have successfully completed Secondary or High School education. The universities usually require applicants to have a credit profile in order to demonstrate they have the capability to progress to the Second or Final year of a Degree course as appropriate.
