NVQ Level 4 Registered Managers Award (Adults) The national minimum standards for care require that managers in care homes will need to have a qualification relevant to the care provided and a qualification in the management of services at NVQ Level 4.
The award is not a care qualification, although it does have some units taken from Care NVQ at Level 4, enabling people
who need to achieve both a care and management qualification to reduce the assessment burden.
This qualification focuses on the task of managing a care service and is the correct choice for managers of care homes. This includes services for older people, people with learning disabilities and people with mental health problems.
